Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, posted a mocking birthday message to Sean Combs on Tuesday. Combs, who goes by the stage name Diddy, turned 57 on November 4. The rapper celebrated the milestone while serving a sentence in a federal prison.
Jackson wrote, "Happy 57th B Day Diddy, wishing you many more. LOL." The brief note continued a pattern of public humor at Combs' expense. Jackson has used social media to comment on his former Bad Boy Records boss' legal battles for several years.
The dynamic began in earnest last year when Combs turned 56. Jackson posted the message, "Told you he alright. Got his appeal going, Diddy good! Happy birthday LOL." He paired that text with an AI-generated video showing a figure resembling Combs dancing in a prison yard to the song "Mo Money Mo Problems."
Combs is currently housed at Fort Dix in New Jersey. He moved to that facility after spending an extended period in general population. His legal team addressed public concerns about his living conditions in a recent statement.
The team said, "His safety and well-being are always important to us, but we have no specific reason to believe he is at risk. We hope he can continue serving his time safely and without unnecessary disruption." The statement aimed to reassure followers that the rapper was being treated with priority despite his high profile.
Jackson's latest post arrived one day after Combs' birthday. The message stands as another data point in the long-running public feud between the two musicians. No new legal filings or court dates were announced alongside the birthday greeting.
