Jordan Brand, Teyana Taylor Reportedly Set For Air Jordan 16

Teyana Taylor is reportedly working with Jordan Brand on an Air Jordan 16 SP that could arrive in summer 2027, according to reports published October 29, 2026. Nike has not confirmed the release date, pricing or availability, and no official photos or colorway details have been released.

The Air Jordan 16 debuted in 2001 and carries a removable lace covering over the lacing area. That panel gives a designer room to alter the shoe's upper. Reports have not described how Taylor might use that feature.

Taylor has released two Jordan Brand collaborations before. Her 2023 Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT 2, called "A Rose From Harlem," used red tones and thorns on the Swoosh. She followed it with the Air Jordan 3 "Concrete Rose" in March 2026, a shoe built with green leather, red accents and sculpted vines.

Any connection between those earlier designs and the Air Jordan 16 has not been confirmed. Details about materials, colors and the shoe's story remain unpublished.

The reported release window puts the shoe in summer 2027, roughly nine months from October 29, 2026. Distribution, if it proceeds, could run through Nike SNKRS and select retailers, though Nike has not named any accounts. Pricing has not been set in any public filing or announcement.

Taylor's earlier Jordan Brand work has centered on roses and Harlem imagery. The Air Jordan 3 released in March 2026 carried vines across its panels. Nike has not said whether those themes carry into the Air Jordan 16.
