Bryana, Jordan Flirt On 'Ready To Love' Pickleball Date

Bryana and Jordan talk faith, attraction and what a partner owes the other during a pickleball date airing Friday at 8 p.m. ET on OWN.

The Chicago season of Ready To Love premiered Oct. 2 and follows 20 successful Black singles in their 30s and 40s. Thomas "Nephew Tommy" Miles hosts. The season marks the franchise's first filming in Chicago. The group includes entrepreneurs, executives, attorneys and creatives, plus the show's first sibling duo searching for love together.

Jordan opens the date by telling Bryana she smells good. She calls that one of her favorite compliments.

In her confessional, Bryana says she has been watching Jordan. "I'm really excited about this date because, baby, I want to see Jordan," she says. "I have been having my eye on him. You know, he's got it going on." She also says she is open to taking things further: "So do I want to bump uglies with Jordan? Possibly."

The two then discuss what they want from a lasting relationship, including faith. Jordan says he has been a supportive partner in past relationships without getting the same commitment back. He says his faith guides the man he hopes to become. "I know that God has put me on this earth to do something bigger than me," he says.

Bryana tells him faith is nonnegotiable for her. "That is so important to me because I cannot waver on my faith," she says. "And I want a partner that also leans on God to make decisions for us." Asked how she sees their connection, she says, "I see our connection as something that has authentic potential. I have a warm, safe feeling when I talk to you."

Jordan then asks what it would take to move from warm to hot. Bryana responds by commenting on his shaved head. "Well, first of all, you bald," she says. "I don't mind the bald head. I'll lick it." Jordan calls the moment awkward in his confessional but says he is also a little flattered. Bryana compares his head to the yellow M&M and asks him to take off his shirt.

Jordan jokes in his confessional that getting undressed might be the best way to get to know her. He adds that the date left him wanting to know Bryana more deeply. "After this date, I definitely feel a stronger connection with Bryana, just from our playful banter, the flirtiness," he says.
