18 TDs for Hoover, 11 Turnovers for Jones
After weekend games, Indiana and Indianapolis coaches took opposite positions on whether their starting quarterbacks stay in.

Two coaching staffs in Central Indiana answered the same question about their quarterbacks with opposite answers this past weekend.
Indiana's Josh Hoover has thrown 18 touchdowns with one interception this season. Colts quarterback Daniel Jones has turned the ball over 11 times. After Indiana's overtime win at Michigan, Curt Cignetti said the staff discussed sitting a banged-up Hoover in the second half. After the Colts lost in Minnesota, Shane Steichen said he has "a ton of faith" in Jones and has not considered a change. A host on The Fan Morning Show said, "We'd be lining the tickertape parade if Daniel Jones had those numbers."
Indiana has played four opponents with winning records: Northwestern, Nebraska, Ohio State and Michigan. Each game was decided by a small margin. The Wolverines started a true freshman at quarterback in his first start. Indiana's next game is Minnesota on Saturday, followed by a bye week. The show's hosts expect Cignetti to keep Hoover in the starting role. One host said, "He will go to a new quarterback much earlier than Shane Steichen ever will." Cignetti has called the scrutiny on Hoover "unfair."
Indiana beat Michigan 13-6 for its first win at the Big House since 1967. Jones threw a late interception in the Colts' loss to the Vikings.
