The new episode of NPR's Tiny Desk Concerts features more than twenty years of rap history in a single sitting. The performance showcases the musical range of Fat Joe, a rapper from New York who has built a career spanning multiple decades.

The episode officially released on November 6. Fat Joe announced the appearance on social media ahead of its launch. The show allows listeners to hear his well-known songs performed live in the NPR office.

The setlist includes tracks from his early years with the Terror Squad group. It also features records that became defining hits of the New York hip-hop scene. Fans of the genre get a chance to revisit these specific compositions in a new acoustic setting.

This performance arrives during a productive year for the artist. He currently hosts the podcast The Joe & Jada Show alongside Jadakiss. The show has gained a strong following among his core audience.

Fat Joe also dropped new music earlier this year. In August, he released the album Organized Crime. The project features collaborations with Pusha T, Yung Miami, and Jadakiss. These recent efforts demonstrate his continued activity in the music industry.

The Tiny Desk series requires artists to select a curated list of songs for their appearance. Fat Joe chose a variety of hits from his catalog to represent his career. The episode is now available for streaming on the NPR website.
