Indianapolis. Rapper Nicki Minaj released a pointed statement on social media on Wednesday, November 4, following the Republican Party’s performance in the midterm elections. The post addressed both her public role and the current administration’s standing.

In a 15-point response on X, Minaj asserted that Donald Trump is still the president. She also noted that she remains a major public figure and that Jesus is Lord. The post included congratulations for Republican candidates Anna Paulina Luna and Byron Donalds. Minaj criticized Democratic campaign spending, describing it as a billion-dollar loss filled with celebrities. She concluded her initial list with the phrase, "Stay tuned & STAY MAD."

The rapper’s message aligned with the White House’s official reaction to the election results. The administration’s social media account posted a photo of Trump in the Oval Office with the caption, "PSA: TRUMP IS STILL YOUR PRESIDENT." The White House issued a statement titled "President Trump Will Again Defy the Odds, the Fake News, and the Radical Left." The document accused Democrats of trying to reverse policies on immigration, taxes, energy, and diversity during the final two years of Trump’s term. It warned that attempts to impeach the president or dismantle his agenda would fail. The statement ended with the line, "President Trump will never stop fighting."

In a follow-up post, Minaj defended Elon Musk, who reportedly spent more than $440 million on Republican election efforts. She pointed out that Musk remains a trillionaire while critics continue using his app, X. She praised the artificial intelligence chatbot Grok, developed by Musk’s company xAI, calling it a phenomenal product that changed her life for the better. Online critics quickly responded, noting that Minaj is not a U.S. citizen and therefore cannot vote, which complicates her claim of having veto power over political outcomes.

Minaj had previously attended campaign appearances alongside Trump. Her recent posts serve as a direct response to the mockery she faced after the Election Day defeats. The White House continues to frame the results as a temporary setback, while the administration maintains that its policies will survive legislative challenges.

The next scheduled events will include the formal organization of the new Congress and the start of the lame duck session, where the administration will face its first major tests with the incoming lawmakers. Minaj has not announced any further public appearances related to the election cycle.

The rapper’s comments have generated renewed debate among fans and political observers in Central Indiana and across the country regarding celebrity influence in modern politics. The White House statement and Minaj’s posts remain visible on major social media platforms as of late Wednesday.
