Zendaya copies Halle Berry's 2000 Lanvin outfit for Halloween
Stylist Law Roach hand-sewed diamond details to recreate the exact 26-year-old look, prompting Berry to reply 'OK, Twin!'

26 years after Halle Berry wore the outfit to the 72nd Academy Awards, a replica of the exact look appeared on a Halloween feed.
Zendaya posted photos of herself in the ensemble on October 31. The outfit consisted of a Lanvin bikini top, low-cut trousers, and tinted sunglasses. It was a direct copy of Berry's Fall 2000 Lanvin look.
Law Roach, Zendaya's stylist, assembled the pieces. He noted in his caption that the pants came from the Lanvin archive. The top was custom made. He hand-sewed diamond straps and closures to match the original garment.
Phillip Bloch, the stylist who designed Berry's original 2000 outfit, commented on the post. He reminded Roach that he had created the diamond chains from the hem of the pants to make the closures. 'God is in the details. You know that my friend love you papi Great,' Bloch wrote. 'Look, thank you for always inspiring with vintage looks.'
Roach replied to Bloch in the comments. 'please know you could never be forgotten!!! Trust me I asked Halle did she have the top!!!' he wrote.
Berry entered the comment section in response to the tribute. She posted several heart emojis. This occurred while she was in a public dispute with her ex-partner, Olivier Martinez, over their teenage son.
The tribute followed Berry's recent appearance at the Emmys. She debuted a pixie cut there while wearing a custom Prada gown.
