The Percussive Arts Society will bring its International Convention to the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis from Nov. 11-14. Organizers call the gathering PASIC 2026 and bill it as "The Greatest 4 Days in Drums & Percussion."

The event spans four days and covers jazz, rock, country, pop, marching percussion, symphonic music and world music through concerts, clinics and workshops. The Percussive Arts Society describes it as the largest convention dedicated only to drums and percussion.

Drummer Sheila E. is scheduled to perform. Steve Gadd, whose credits include work with Paul Simon and Chick Corea, is also on the roster. Todd Sucherman of Styx, Jim Riley of Rascal Flatts and Matt Garstka of Animals As Leaders are listed as featured artists.

Marching percussion performances include the West Point Hellcats and the Boston Crusaders. World music artists Marcus Krieger, who has worked with Tito Puente, and Valerie Naranjo, known for her work on "Saturday Night Live," are also part of the program.

The convention includes an instrument and equipment expo with more than 100 vendors selling drums, percussion instruments, accessories and equipment. Tickets for the expo hall are sold separately from general convention admission.

Indiana residents can buy a $50 pass for Saturday, Nov. 14. That pass covers convention admission that day plus the Sheila E. concert that evening. The Percussive Arts Society has said the event is for professional musicians, music educators, students and casual music fans.
