The song "By God" began playing on country radio stations on November 2, 2026. Big Loud Records, HARDY's label, sent the track to country playlists following the release of his new extended play, Sides.
Sides is a four-song project that arrived on October 30. The EP contains tracks designed to appeal to different segments of HARDY's audience. He has long worked in the space between country and rock music. This new collection offers listeners a sample of both sides of his catalog in a short format.
HARDY has previously split his work along similar lines. His 2023 album, the mockingbird & THE CROW, featured one half of the record aimed at country fans and the other half built for rock audiences. Before headlining his own tours, he established his career as a songwriter for other acts. He co-wrote Blake Shelton's hit "God's Country." He also collaborated with Lainey Wilson on "wait in the truck."
The release adds to a busy fall schedule for the Mississippi singer. He is scheduled to co-headline the New Year's Eve concert in Nashville with Little Big Town. He is also part of this year's CMA Awards nominations. Fans who attended his Quit!! Tour have seen his live performances, and the new material provides additional songs for upcoming shows.
