Antica Italia opened in Cicero on November 5, 2026. The new restaurant is owned by the team behind Pig’s Tale Charcuterie, a regular vendor at local farmers markets.

The deli is located at 770 S. Peru St. in Cicero. The current menu features sandwiches layered with various salumi. It also includes Neapolitan hand-tossed pizzas.

The owners previously operated Pig’s Tale Charcuterie. That business was known for its presence at local agricultural markets.

Other dining establishments in the region are also opening or rebranding. Bocado Brunch & Te’Kila opened its second location on the same day at 4601 N. College Ave. in Meridian-Kessler. This site occupies the former Root & Bone building. The menu includes handcrafted cocktails and Mexican-inspired dishes.

Boveda is launching a new version of its restaurant at 834 E. 64th St. in Broad Ripple. This location offers a la carte dining and a chef’s table experience. The concept previously operated inside Fishers Test Kitchen in 2025 before closing.

Slapfish is preparing to open a new location in Meridian-Kessler at 115 E. 49th St. Signage outside the building indicates a November 14 opening date. Additionally, a Baba’s Halal franchise is coming to 309 S. Delaware St. in downtown Indianapolis. This Orlando-based chain serves halal platters, smash burgers, and wings.
