Chloe Bailey dresses as Meg Griffin for Halloween after viral post

Chloe Bailey celebrated Halloween by stepping into the shoes of a cartoon character.

The singer posted a 10-slide carousel to Instagram on Oct. 26 showing her dressed as Meg Griffin from the animated series Family Guy. The post is captioned "hot Meg Griffin." Her costume includes a magenta knit beanie, round wire-frame glasses, a hot pink satin choker, a pink strapless bra top, a low-rise denim mini skirt and silver metallic knee-high boots with pointed toes and stiletto heels.

The costume answered a post that circulated in August. An X user wrote at the time, "Yall treat chloe bailey like meg griffin omg." That post had more than 60,000 likes as of Oct. 27. On Family Guy, Meg is the Griffin family's frequent target, and her parents and siblings pick on her in nearly every episode. People who saw the post drew a line between Meg's treatment on the show and the criticism Chloe Bailey has received online.

Chloe Bailey reposted the X post after releasing her costume with the two words "aw shucks." Her Instagram carousel mixes portraits and walking shots of her look with cartoon stills of Meg. Her hair, styled by Fesa Nu, sits as long red hair over her signature locs and falls straight past her shoulders. SZA commented on the post, "Sooo cutie patoootie." Other comments included "Another Halloween slay!"

The costume is one look in a series. Chloe Bailey has posted more than one Halloween costume in past years. Her Oct. 26 post is the first of 2026, and Oct. 31 has not arrived.
