Brooks & Dunn Confirm Work on New Album

Ronnie Dunn confirmed that he and Kix Brooks are actively working on a new record. Dunn made the statement during an interview with CBS Mornings, reported by Saving Country Music on October 25.

The duo has been exchanging song ideas. They are currently working through the creative decisions involved in producing music together. No title, track list, or release date has been announced yet.

Brooks & Dunn helped define the sound of 1990s country music. Their songs still fill dance floors and inspire singalongs today. A new generation of listeners continues to discover their catalog.

Fans often cite “Neon Moon” or “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” as the band's standout tracks. These songs demonstrate the different moods the duo can bring to a country playlist. The pair has recently revisited their hits through Reboot projects, which feature collaborations with other artists on new versions of familiar songs.

The prospect of a new studio record gives fans another project to anticipate as Brooks and Dunn continue their partnership. The duo has not specified when they will share more details about the project.
