Kushner Real Estate has rebranded 6,200 apartments in New Jersey under a new identity called Northern Chapter Company.

The company, often referred to simply as Chapter, manages a portfolio of 13 communities. This collection includes seven locations in Jersey City and properties in Bayonne, East Hanover, Hopewell, Madison, Marlboro, and Rockaway.

The rebranding effort consolidates these existing assets under a single corporate structure. While the company had previously developed and managed these sites independently, it is now applying a unified framework to its operations. The new brand focuses on shared standards for resident service, hospitality, and community programming. Management stated that each property will retain its local character while adhering to the new corporate guidelines.

Jonathan Kushner, President of Kushner Real Estate, said the change reflects a commitment to how the company interacts with residents. “While we take great pride in developing, owning and managing a variety of residential communities, what matters most is how we show up for our residents,” Kushner said. He added that the new name represents a more unified approach across the entire portfolio.

The launch includes the motto “Everyday Elevated” and a new visual identity. The company introduced a bookmark-inspired emblem to symbolize the life experiences residents have within the buildings. Marc Kushner, Chief Design Officer, explained that the goal is to create memorable communities. “We want Chapter to be recognized not only for the buildings we create, but for the experiences people have in them,” he said.

The Jersey City sites covered by the rebrand include 18 Park, 225 Grand, 235 Grand, 351 Marin, 485 Marin, Grove Pointe, and Journal Squared. Kushner Real Estate plans to add more residential communities to the Chapter portfolio as they are built or acquired.
