The Milwaukee Brewers hold a 3-0 lead in the World Series after a 10-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night. The margin of 10 runs represents the largest offensive output by either team in this postseason. Robert Gasser started the game and anchored the bullpen during the rout.

The series now stands at three wins for Milwaukee and zero for Tampa Bay. The Brewers can secure the title as early as Tuesday night, October 27. Game 4 is scheduled for 8 p.m. Eastern time at the Rays' home ballpark. The game will air on Fox, Fox Deportes, and fubo.

If the Rays win Tuesday, Game 5 will follow on Wednesday, October 28, also at 8 p.m. Eastern time. Games 6 and 7, if necessary, are set for Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, in Milwaukee. Both games will air at 8 p.m. Eastern time on the same network partners.

The Rays earned their place in the World Series by defeating the Cleveland Guardians in six games. Junior Caminero hit a home run in Game 6 of the American League Championship Series to seal the pennant. This is the first World Series appearance for Tampa Bay since 2020. It is the third appearance in franchise history, following a loss to the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008.

The Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the National League pennant. They swept the Dodgers in four games during the National League Championship Series. This marks the first World Series appearance for Milwaukee since 1982. Neither franchise has ever won a World Series title.

The Brewers won Game 1 on Friday, October 23, by a score of 3-2. They followed that with a 5-4 victory in Game 2 on Saturday, October 24. The 10-1 result on Monday extends their lead in the series. The Rays have lost all three games played so far in this World Series.

The path to the World Series included several close games in the earlier rounds. The Rays defeated the New York Yankees in three straight games in the Division Series. The Brewers beat the San Diego Padres in three games to advance. The Guardians eliminated the Chicago White Sox in five games in the American League Division Series.
