Indianapolis, IN. Comedian Tim Meadows will perform at the Helium Comedy Club in Indianapolis from November 5 to November 7. The actor and writer is best known for his long tenure on Saturday Night Live and roles in films such as Mean Girls, The Goldbergs, and Grown Ups. He also appeared in The Ladies Man, Semi-Pro, and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.
Meadows recently finished filming Grown Ups 3 in Rome and Sardinia. He shared that experience with Adam Sandler, David Spade, and other cast members. The trip reinforced his desire to return to stand-up comedy. He told the Hammer and Nigel Show that he genuinely loves performing live.
His live act differs from his scripted film roles. Meadows describes his material as highly improvisational. He mixes conceptual comedy with political and social observations. He also shares personal stories about relationships, divorce, and parenting. Each show includes material about his recent experiences and dating life.
The comedian plans to offer a different set each night. He aims to engage the audience with a mix of familiar characters and new material. His background in character acting informs his stand-up style, but he focuses on direct interaction with the crowd.
Tickets for the three-night run are available for the Helium Comedy Club dates. The performances will take place this week in Central Indiana. Meadows will discuss his career highlights and current projects with the audience during the shows.
