Gal Tobi, a northern correspondent for Channel 14, reported that a male voter verbally assaulted and harassed her while she covered Tuesday's elections in Haifa. The incident occurred at a polling station in the Denya neighborhood on Tuesday morning. Tobi was working alone without a cameraman when the man approached her station.

Tobi stated that the man stood uncomfortably close to her and touched her equipment during a live broadcast. He accused her of filming people in the background. Tobi said she adjusted the camera angle to ensure only she appeared on screen, but the man continued to interfere with her work. "Even though I accommodated him so as not to offend anyone, he stood very close to me and harassed me," Tobi told Walla.

According to Tobi, the man arrived with two companions and later told them, "We don't want Channel 14." She also heard remarks against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during the confrontation. Other voters at the polling station intervened to defend her. Tobi described the group's behavior as bullying and said they disrupted her broadcast and touched her equipment. "I was verbally attacked and harassed," she added.

Ofer Winter, chairman of the People of Israel party, condemned the incident. He described the event as the latest in a series of similar cases involving journalists and media crews. "We are all brothers here! We must put an end to attacks by one brother against another," Winter said. He urged law enforcement authorities to take action and stated that there is no place for this violence in Israeli society.

Tubi said she and her colleagues at Channel 14 had encountered similar incidents while carrying out their regular reporting duties. Despite the confrontation, she said she intended to continue her journalistic work. "We'll get through this and continue bringing you the voices from the field. We won't pay attention to people like that. Not everyone here is like that," she said during a Channel 14 broadcast.

The incident left Tobi visibly distressed, and she broke down in tears. She said the experience was part of a pattern of difficulties faced by reporters in the field. Winter added that any attack on media outlets doing their jobs must be condemned clearly and unequivocally.
