Election Day voters must confirm location
Indiana voters must confirm their voting location before November 3.
By Tristan Parker ·

With Election Day on November 3, Indiana voters must confirm their voting location. Vote centers are available in 72 of the state’s 92 counties, allowing residents to vote at any location within their county. However, Hamilton County will not have vote centers until 2027, and voters in counties without vote centers must vote at their assigned polling location.
Voters should review their county’s policies, as early voting typically takes place at county election offices with additional satellite locations opening as Election Day approaches. The Indiana Voter Portal lists early voting locations and hours. Voters must present a photo ID issued by the state or federal government, and those without one can apply for a free, nondriver photo ID through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles.
Voters can also apply for a mail-in absentee ballot through the Secretary of State’s website. Those with disabilities that impair their ability to mark a ballot can apply for the traveling voter board through the site. Voters can check their registration status and polling location at indianavoters.in.gov by entering their name, date of birth, and county of residence.
